We had a really fun 4th of July this year. We had only been back a couple of days when it rolled around. We went to a park and played kickball and let the kids play on the toys. We then had dinner with some friends and went to the fireworks about 30 minutes from our house. Gurnee (the city we live in) decided to do budget cuts this year and didn't do a parade or fireworks. It was still a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. We are happy to have friends out here to spend time with. It sure makes the holidays a lot more fun.
