We had a very busy day yesterday with Christmas parties. Yesterday morning we went over to our friends house and had a gift exchange with all the kids. They decorated cake Christmas trees and we had a lot of fun. When we were done there, we went to Drake's pre-school and they had their winter carnival. They had a lot of fun games for the kids to play and ginger bread men and houses to decorate. Both kids had a great time. Madelyn even got to spend the last 30 minutes with the class. She was so proud of herself and is very excited to go to pre-school (she has a couple years still). Then, last night we had our ward party. We have had our fair share of Christmas parties but we sure had a lot of fun.
Drake did an excellent job on his gingerbread house. Everyone (including myself) was so impressed with how good of a job he did. He was very precise and spent a LONG time on it making sure it was perfect.
Madelyn did a great job with her gingerbread house too, but she ate more than she put on it. For every 1 piece she put on the house, she ate 2.
