Trip To Idaho

After Mike and I got back from Mexico I drove up to Idaho to meet the kids.  I stayed there for a week until Mike got there.  We had a great time while we were there.

We went to the snow shack

Drake made up a bunch of very entertaining (and clever) games in my parent's basement.

Grandpa Simpson took us to see his work.  He works at a potato plant and we got to see how all the potatoes are cleaned, sorted and more. It was pretty cool.  He then gave all the kids a potato and their own special bag.
Tyra & I cruised 17th street-Ha Ha Ha
We went to Dairy Queen after the softball game
And also went to blast off with Michael, Krew, Harper, Grandma and Grandpa.  We played a serious game of laser tag too.

We even had a hot dog roast in the backyard.  Michael showed us how to roast starbursts. YUM!
Mike got to Idaho and we did even more fun things.  We took the kids up to Rexburg and showed them the temple.  We also walked around BYU-Idaho campus (it has changed so much since we've been there), and played at Porter Park splash pad.

Drake is getting a little "too old" and "too cool" to play at these "kid" parks

We also took the kids down to Pocatello and went to Ross Park.  The water park there was really fun.  The kids area was awesome and they had 2 big slides.  We tried crossing the lily pads and it was harder than it looks. Drake was really good at it though.

We stopped at Hokulia in Provo on our way back to Arizona

We basically wore the kids out.  McKay would fall asleep in random places.  He was so tired he fell asleep at the counter sitting in a chair.
