Ward Christmas Party

Our ward has a Christmas Party Breakfast every year.  It's always fun to go.  The food is great and there is a little program.  Then Santa comes and visits all the kids.  McKay did NOT like Santa at all.  I kinda don't blame him, that white beard can be a little scary.  After the party was over we helped clean up a little then left.  As we were sitting in the car Santa came walking out (undisguised).  The kids were completely taken back.  They couldn't believe that he didn't really have a beard and then they had a million questions.  I told them it wasn't the real Santa and that Santa has a lot of helpers.  This guy was just nice enough to be one of his helpers.  My kids were completely disappointed bc they were sure that he was the real one.  It was kind of sad but at the same time kinda funny.  So, all you "Santa's" out there, please keep in character until all small children are not in sight. :) Side-note, we weren't even the last ones to leave the party.  There were plenty of others behind us so it's not like we just hung around forever.  Don't worry I'm not bitter, it really is comical.
