Broken Elbow

Madelyn broke her first bone. We were at the park practicing baseball with Drake while Madelyn was playing on the toys with Cache and McKay.  Madelyn was swinging on the swings and decided to jump off. She told me she was going really high and had this thought not to jump.  Well, she decided to jump anyway. She came down and landed on her left elbow. She was in a lot of pain but was responsible enough to gather up Cache and McKay and bring them back to us.  I could tell she was in a lot of pain.  She has an EXTREMELY high tolerance for pain.  It was so sad to see her hurting so bad but she was hardly even crying.

We went home and dropped the boys off and took Madelyn to the urgent care.  They x-rayed her elbow and it was clear it was broken.  We had to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon.  It's killing her to not be able to use that arm.
