Mariners Spring Training

We love going up to Peoria, AZ in the spring when the Mariners report for spring training. We get to meet the players, watch them practice, pitch, catch and then they sign autographs.  McKay and Cache got to come with us bc Drake and Madelyn were still in school.

There is a pitcher who is a closer for the Mariners named Fernando Rodney.  When he wins the game he pretends to shoot an arrow into the air.  Cache had a baseball and asked him to sign it. Cache also asked if he'd draw an arrow on there.  Rodney was very serious and when Cache asked him that question he but up laughing. It was so cute.

We also got some close up time with Felix Hernandez.
