We have been lucky enough to have family by us the last 3 years. It's been so great. The cousins play together and I hang out with my sisters-in-law. One of them moved a year ago and it was hard to see her go. The other will be moving soon and it kills me to know I will be alone again. So, we take advantage of getting together when we can. We go to baseball games, play at the park, hang out at my house and even shop.
