Mike is 30!

This year was a big year for Mike, he turned 30.  I wanted to make it a special birthday since he hit the big 3-0.  So it started out that when he woke up in the morning there were 30 hearts on the bathroom mirror.  Each heart had a reason I love him.

Throughout the day he got random notes and gifts containing 30 memories, 30 pieces of his favorite candy and more.  I also surprised him with cupcakes at work and then decorated his car with 30 balloons and LOTS of candy.

That night we had Giordanos (our favorite Chicago pizza).  We had it shipped in just for his birthday.  We had cake and ice cream and then I got a babysitter.  Mike and I were off to a Suns game.  We had great seats and had a blast at the game.

The next night we went to dinner and had one last present for him.  I contacted 30 people from his past and they all wrote a note full of memories and more.  It was pretty awesome.  We sat at dinner and read them.  There were so many great memories (a lot of funny ones).  It was great.  I am thankful for everyone that helped out.

Mike is such a great husband and dad.  I am so grateful for him.  We all feel so blessed to have him in our lives.
